For this photo first I made some minor global corrections. I brought up the contrast a little bit. I brought the shadows up. I put the vibrance to +5 so that my models clothes popped against the earth toned background. I also brought the clarity up just a little. For the local corrections I highlighted my model’s eyes, and brightened up underneath her eyes.

Original Image Global Corrections
The first global adjustments I made to this image were rotating it so that the horizon was level, and I cropped in a bit to get rid of unnecessary space on the left and right sides of the photo. Then I brought up the exposure, contrast, and shadows and adjusted the white balance a bit. I added a tiny bit of vibrance.
