Lighting Direction

I set up Puppy on my coffee table and used a sheet to create the white back drop. I used a clamp light to direct my lighting. Towards the end of my process I realized I needed to place my sheet under the stuffed animal to capture the silhouette better so next time I’ll try not to break the continuity of this photo set.

nice work. You can make good photos with a horizon or with a sweep.

When using a horizon line, consider where it is in relationship to the figure. .Also, with the stuffed animal in front of the backdrop you should be able to light it separately from the background. So for example, top light the dog and keep the background black.
