I tried very hard to catch her keeping still. I could see how much the wide angle distortion changes the proportions and shape of the subject; she looks much different when I removed it.

A self-portrait of me in front of the tree. 
I used Portrait in my camera and I used the studio light selections. 
Close up angle 
Put my hand up to the camera and my hand is a blur while my face is the main fouces.
To get a wide angle shot is hard to get with a phone. Even though I have a the iPhone 11 that comes with the a wide lenses. However, that lenses can only be fully used when the camera is facing away from the person when taking a selfies with the camera phone.

In this photo i placed my hands in front of the camera so the rest of me could look smaller than my hands. 
I took this photo at an high angle making my arms look smaller

I know that up close on my face it tends to exaggerate features slightly but when pushed back most of the features aren’t pushed back. The further I was pushed back and when I stretched my hand, it got more distorted like my hand.
It is difficult for me to take Wide Angle Distortion photos, it took me a long time. I am not sure if it is correct.
