Painting with light

I really like this photo that i took of Palden because of how he seems to be thinking of something and how what hes thinking abut forms as the purple/pink light into a ball shape. I took this photo with fixing the composition to make him fit more into the frame and using a flashlight to see where he was and zoom it more/less.

Painting With Light

I didn’t take the photo but I came up with the idea of the thought bubble while having the expression of thinking. I we also used a purple filter over the flash while using the orange light. I think it came our really good.

Portrait Lighting

The portrait that was taken in my group, shows an photo using a silhouette type of lighting. I like  this image because of the contrast it makes with the background and the type of mood it sets.

Portrait Lighting

I really love this photo that I took of one of classmate . It’s a show silhouette of the side of her face. The light background gave the photo more depth and contrast. The flow of the photo is interesting. The crop is also interesting. One side of full of white and the other side is full of black.

The lighting in this photo was towards the side of him, not directly in front of him to where it cast a shadow on the other side of hid face, forming a triangle under his eye. There was no fill light used for this because I wanted to be able to have the shadow there to form the triangle. This lighting also made the background look light grey because the light was to the side but in front.

portrait lighting

I believe this is my single best image that i have taken of my classmate because the lighting is not to bright or dark it can catch a sense of depth of the image filling in the background and i like the way it outlines her body. Also this is a very dramatic image because the way her is flowing in this image as well.

Learning Log #9

I like this photo of Avion because the light hits his face directly by the left side and the reflector was able to show his right side. Not too much on the right but just the right amount of light.

Portrait lighting

I really like this photo that I took of Palden because the light was side light and it was forming the triangle on his cheek. The photo is supposed to be mysterious and shady. The background light is dark and i really like this photo.
