    1) In Illustrator, we can fill a shape and stroke with different color. In order to do this, we can start by taking the rectangle tool from the toolbar on the left. Once the shape is created on the artboard, the shape will have white fill and black stroke which is the default option. In order to fill in the shape, we can go ahead and select the shape with the selection tool. Next, we can ago ahead and pick a color from the swatches box. If it is not on sight, we can go to the top menu and click on ‘window’. Then, we scroll down to swatches on the menu. We can also change the color of the object by going to properties, select the fill and stroke icon and change the colors when we click on whichever we want to.

    2) In order to create a dashed line in Illustrator, we can go ahead and click the ‘Line Selection Tool’ from the toolbar. Then, we can create either a line or shape we want. After that we select the object. On the right hand side panel, we can click on the appearance menu and look for stroke. On the stroke menu, there is a dashed line option. Along with the dashed line option, you have a choice of what size or style you’d like the dashed line to be.

I like how you wrote it as if its a tutorial. You make sure to write where you can see each of the buttons on the panel, and what options we have :))

In order to fill in a shape and a stroke with different colors in Adobe Illustrator, we first locate the toolbar on the left side. Once it is found, select the rectangle tool (you can also select the other shape tools from the drop-down menu and create a shape). Illustrator automatically defaults to white fill and black stroke therefore; we must make sure we click the appropriate option. To fill in the shape, we click on the object, and choose any color we’d like by exploring our color options in the swatches window. We can also change the color of the object by going to properties, find the fill and stroke icon and change the colors when we click on either one.
A way to create a dashed line in Adobe Illustrator, is first we can change the rectangle, ellipse, star, or polygon tool to line segment tool. We then can create a line or a shape we want to be dashed. After we select the selection tool, we then move the object while making sure to keep it in alignment and hold the shift key. To achieve repetition, press CTRL D. We can play with the pt. size of the line by looking in strokes. Another way we can create a dash line is finding the dashed line option in strokes and we can manipulate the stroke by changing the weight of the stroke.

I like how you talk to the reader, and make sure you add details like ” We can also change the color…” and apply the correct shortcuts. It makes it beginner friendly :))

In order to fill a shape and a stroke with different colors, you have to start by creating a shape. Using the rectangle or polygon tool, you can create any shape you so as much please. After creating a shape, there’s a tool on the left side of the screen labelled “Fill” and “Stroke”. Click the “Fill” icon to dictate the color inside the shape, and then click “stroke” icon to dictate the color, and or the weight of the stroke.
To create a dashed line, you need to create a line with the Line selection tool. Use the tool while holding the “Alt”, move the line over to create space. While moving, hit the shift key to keep straight and aligned. Then press “control” and “D” to repeat the action.

There are many ways of changing the color of a shape or stroke in illustrator. The first way is from the left toolbox. Go to the left toolbox and right-click on the small grey solid box (next to the text and paintbrush tool) to see what you want to create. The bottom of the left toolbox shows a filled square and a stroke square. Clicking on one of the boxes will bring them to the front, indicating that mode is enabled. Double-clicking on the box will bring up a window showing colors. The second way to change color is by clicking on “swatches” from the “windows” button on the top menu bar. The tile icon in the toolbox on the right is another way to find swatches. The third way to change color is to look at the “Properties” tab on the right side of the program and click on fill or stroke. The fourth way is changing corresponding colors on shapes or strokes. Use the selection tool (v key) to select the object. Then, click on the “select” button on the top menu and click “fill color” or “stroke color.” To remove the color from a shape or stroke, use the slash key(/).

To create a dashed line in illustrator, create a thin line using the “Rectangle Tool” (m key) or use the “Line Selection Tool” (\ key) from your toolbar. Then, using the selection tool (v key) plus the alt key (option key for mac users), move the rectangle an inch from the original rectangle. While you are moving the copy, hold the shift key to keep the destination stable. Control plus d (command plus d for mac users) copies the steps repeated above. Making a line and erasing parts of the line to make a dashed line isn’t practical.

Your explanation is without a doubt beginner friendly which helps a lot to well understand step by step. Also, I liked the fact that you include the keyboard shortcuts to use such as (v), (/), and (ctrl + d) when doing the job. This can certainly save time and not have to scroll through a menu all the time.

To create a shape that has a different fill color than its stroke color, they can use the x shortcut key to navigate between the fill or stroke. There are a number of ways in which the user can change the color of the fill and stroke. One method is for the user to simply double click either the fill color/stroke color in the toolbar, which will consequently bring up a color picker window. After selecting the color of choice, the user can then hit “OK” on the right side of the color picker window. Alternatively, the user can refer to the top of their Illustrator application and select the “Window” menu. Then, the user can click on “Color” or use the shortcut F6 to bring up the color panel. Once the user has selected the colors of choice for their fill and stroke, they can then proceed to create their shape. If the user is trying to change the color of a shape that has already been created. Then, they just need to click on the selection tool in the toolbar or use the shortcut V to select the shape that they are trying to change the color of and follow aforementioned instructions.
To create a dashed line in illustrator, one should refer to their toolbar. To select the line segment tool which is grouped together with the rectangle, ellipses, polygon, and star tool. In order to change from one of the aforementioned shapes to the line segment tool, the user needs to right-click to bring up a small menu where they can then select the line segment tool. The user can also choose to just use the shortcut (\), which is usually found under delete on a Mac or backspace on a PC—not to be confused with the regular slash (/). The user should also make sure that their stroke panel is open. If not, they can do so by selecting “Windows” at the top of their Illustrator application and then select “Stroke,” or they can use the shortcuts CTRL+F10 (PC)/command+F10 (Mac). After, the user can check off the box next to the dashed line in the stroke panel and adjust the pt size for the dash and gap accordingly. Finally, they can create the line segment. Similarly to the situation with the fill and stroke in the first paragraph, if the user has already created a line segment, they just need to use the selection tool to select the line segment they are trying to edit and then revise the line segment into a dashed line by following the aforementioned instructions.

Good response. Using the x key to switch between stroke/solid and selecting the dashed line option is easy, fast, and convenient.

in adobe you can create many shapes and forms using the tools giving to you, also change the color in the shapes you create. on the left side of your screen theirs a tool bar, you chose the shape tool and chose what shape you like then drag and click to create it. when you want to change the shapes color just select the selection tool and click the shape you want. Towards the bottom of the tool bar their a fill tool, click on it to put it upfront of the fill tool showing that you are using the fill tool and not the stroke tool. Go to windows, scroll down till you see swatch. click on it and it should open a the color swatches. finally chose what color you want and your set. you could do the same with the strokes just follow the same steps but instead of using the fill tool use the stroke tool.
if you want the shape you created to be a bit more interesting you can create a dotted line. first you create the shape or you can use the one you have created then on the tool bar you go down to stroke tool . When creating any form or line design in Adobe Illustrator, you can customize them by adding colors or changing strokes. First, you need to create your form using the Form Tool button option on the toolbar menu on the left side of the program. To fill shape and stroke with different colors in Adobe Illustrator with Selection Tool, press on the shape you want to change, and on the toolbar menu, you will see two big squares almost at the end of the menu for fill and stroke options for the quick access. Remember, default Fill and Stroke always will be black and white colors. Also, you can find it on the right side in Illustrator panel side in Appearance. You can open the menu of fill or stroke and change it there or delete it at all. You can choose any color, gradient, or pick a different pattern. You can change the stroke’s size, shape, corner, aligning, and line pattern.

Here is how you can create a dashed line in Adobe Illustrator on any form or solid line. First, you also need to create a line or shape, as I mentioned at the beginning. Using the Form tool or Line Segment, you create a shape or line you want to turn into a dashed line, then press Selection Tool on the object. On the right-side panel Appearance menu, which will appear, you press stroke. On the Stroke menu, you will find a Dashed line dropdown. You can press check in the box and choose what type of dash line you prefer, its size or style.
