Each week you will need to respond to two questions posted. Your response should be a minimum of 300 words for both questions. You should also include at least one response to your fellow students. The responses are a requirement for participation part of your grade.
Question 01 –
Describe how to load a selection and explain why it is beneficial to use this technique.
Question 02 –
How do you fill a selection with the foreground color? Background color?
It’s very direct in photoshop. I feel like if you need to find something most times it’s named what you want it to be. For example, you would choose Select and then click Load Selection. (hehe) But you would also need to click the Channel Menu and choose what selection name you would like to reuse. Then you would click okay and it should appear on your layer. Using this method can help save time. You can always refer back to the saved selection and edit it quicker instead of looking back and trying to find the point of conflict in your work.
When trying to fill a selection with the foreground color you would need to do these steps. First, make sure to create a selection on your layer. Next, you would select a fill color of your choice. Then you would click window and color to create the color you want. Then you would click edit and then fill. A box would pop up where you can pick which specific place you would like the color to be in. For example, there are foreground and background color options. Once you pick the desired option you can click okay and it should fill the desired area.
