- What was the message? This week there was several persuasive writings around us, based on the politic propaganda in the media about the upcoming presidential elections.
- What reasons/ evidence does the author provide (if any) to support argument. The arguments of this persuasive writings were the purposes the candidates had with their presidential term in case of being elected.
- What was the genre? The use of writing genres in political campaings and advertising was mostly articles, reviews, illustrations, satires
- What was the purpose of the message? Who was the intended audience? Th purpose of this series of messages was to persuade the American citizens to incline their vote to any of the political parties, based on their arguments and goals as elected presidents,
- Were you convinced by it? Did it inspire you to change your way of thinking, your behavior, your actions? Explain! I personally can’t take any action in american politics, I had opinions for both candidates and didn’t wanted any of the two to win. However my eyes were stuck to every livestreaming about the election results and porcentages, I guess this elections made me realize how I can’t stay away from politics, even if i want to,
- Do you see examples of Ethos, Pathos, or Logos? In my opinion campaigning coveres every appeal in different ways. Logic to evaluate the candidate’s purpouses, Ethic to judge their previous behaviors and decisions, and emotional to convey the strong situations the country has been through during the last 4 years.
