Hello Everyone; My name is Gustavo Sosa. I am a Freshman in City Tech and I am majoring in Media Technology. Some activities that I like to do is play Guitar, Draw and Code. Playing Guitar can be fun; But also stressful if you’re a beginner like me. It’s very time consuming and takes a lot of practice; but it’s worth it in the end when you hear everything come together after hours of practice. I’ve been drawing since I’ve been in Elementary school. I’ve always loved drawing; Seeing an art piece come together and creating a masterpiece makes me feel good about myself. You fall in love with your art work and admire it. I’ve went from drawing in pencil and paper to doing some digital art and both are fun to do. Coding is something I’ve recently got into a year ago. Not web development but game development. Creating my own games and seeing the progress. I’ve always enjoyed playing video games and always had great ideas for creating my own video game.
I selected this image not only because I enjoy playing guitar but because I enjoy music overall. I listen to music everyday and there isn’t a day where I’m not listening to music. I listen to music outside, while doing homework, anywhere until my earphones are out of battery. I listen to all types of music but I usually listen to latin music such as Bachata or Reggaeton.
You are one interesting person! Lots of fascinating things. I used to play guitar when I was younger, but I completely wrecked one knuckle and had to quit (really sucked because I loved it) although happily I can still play piano a little. I think there are a couple of other artists in the class, too, so you might check the Intro blog posts and/or the Padlet to find them. And last but not least, one of my students a couple of years ago turned me on to Bachata — it’s wonderful!
