A word that describes how I’m feeling about this course as we get stared would be nerved wracking. My concerns would be essays, projects, and exams >3<. I don’t think I’ll have any technical issues, however, i do get distracted pretty easily so that could be a problem (I’ll work on it tho ><). My major is computer science, I’m also 17 years old :D. I choose the image above because I love Mitsuri and I also love anime, music, and dancing. My mom choose my name, when she was little she heard that name and she liked it ever since so yeah. Also fun fact my mom misspell the name she wanted so my name became Izear, that’s why my name is kinda unique.
About
ENG 1101 is about you getting more comfortable with your own process. You’ll look at tools and ideas about how language is used to communicate and persuade and even exclude. And you’ll be introduced to concepts like transfer, genre, and metacognition.
AND as part of the Write Out Loud! Learning Community, you’ll also be writing your own TEDTalk that you’ll present in COMM1330
I’m Jackie Blain, and you can find me on our Slack workspace or via email DBlain@citytech.cuny.edu.

Hey, I love anime too!!! I can relate to being easily distracted and worrying about exams and projects, not really my strong points.
I also get distracted easily lol
Distraction. So easy for those of us with ADD — there’s always a much shinier object OVER THERE!!! I hear you… And by the way, my mother misspelled my name, too. It should have been Jacqueline, but she spelled it Jacquelyn.
