During the beginning, I was trying to accomplish creating a text-based story that was about a person whose beliefs came in the path of their journey and how the challenges changed him for who he becomes at the end. And, making sure there were three endings that had different outcomes based on what it is selected. In terms of non-visual game-making, it took some time to visualize in my mind and how I want the story to play out even though it’s not visual, and hoping it’s interactive and makes sense. So, it was not so bad and I was able to do it. I was most worried about how I was going to writing the story and how to make it interactive to make it sense and work out the story.

When writing the story, the problem I had was figuring out the different ending and the outcomes, because it was a bit hard on how it can make sense and make sure it connects to the real-world issues. And, to make sure it makes sense I talked to someone who gave me feedback based on the story and sees if it made sense. In addition, from the feedback of the professor when I decided what story to write about with the hero’s journey structure. In my mind, I had to visualize the story many times, so I know what is working in the story and what’s not, which helped me build the story better.

Overall, I think it turned out well, the story was built on the hero’s journey structure and I knew where I wanted the story to go. And, be able to create a different ending was successful. Things I would do differently probably add more option and minor choices to make it more interesting and more enjoyable.
