One of my first uses of technology was when my mother got the first IPhone. Back in the year 2007, Apple released their first ever smartphone the IPhone. I have used phone before that point but the Phone was just something different. It was the first time I experienced a touch screen device. The whole UI of the IPhone just amazed me as a kid. When I discovered that when you press and hold on an app then you get the option to delete apps that moment was so surprising to me at the time. This phone is when I first found out about apps like Youtube. This app has have a huge impact in my daily life, Youtube is an app that I still utilize even till this day and is probably one of most used app. The IPhone was one of the first devices were I got to fully use a camera. I recorded many random videos on my mother’s phone several times and filled her storage.
One of the very first people that introduced me to technology was my Uncle also around the time of 2007 I became familiar with the Playstation 3. Ever since the Platstation 3 gaming has became one of my biggest hobbies. This November has me really excited for the release of the Playstation 5 and this whole excitement started with my uncle. The first time I was able to control a character in a virtual space just blow my mind.
Towards the end of the story I felt a connection because my Uncle also introduced me to my first gaming system which was the Xbox One. Ever since that day, video games has also been one of my favorited hobbies and it helped me make new friends and just like you I am very excited for the new consoles coming out in November.
I also went throgh the same thing the difference was that my mother got a Motorola that had a touch screen, I remember that I used to woke up like at 5am to use the phone because she didn’t like me to use her phone and I also remember a ski game that was on the phone that I used to play everytime I got to use the phone, your story made me remember lot’s of memories, I wanted to know what was the first game you play in the Play Station 3?
I relate to the story towards the end mainly because gaming is one of my favorite hobbies and words cant begin to describe my anticipation for the release of the PlayStation 5 in November and all the PlayStation exclusive games releasing soon after.
This story remind me of my first device which was gifted by dad mini iPad 3 when I was 4 year old. Using iPad on that time was very different and unique thing for me because I used to watch cartoon on T.V. and I when I started watching on iPad is seem to different things.
