My name is Diana Saprykina, I am 18 years old, and I can describe my feelings towards this course as excited. I know many people wouldn’t feel the same but I am excited about this semester because I will be learning from home. I feel like I can concentrate on my work more when I am in the comfort of my home. I also feel much more relaxed because I don’t feel very comfortable around people I don’t know. Also, I don’t have to wake up earlier to get ready to leave and have enough time so I’m not late. What I am concerned about is if I am ready for college. I didn’t enjoy high school so what if I am stressed in college too. What if I can’t handle the amount of work and it’s too hard for me? Those are some of my concerns, but the remote learning plays in my favor.
That is a picture that means a lot to me because my favorite place is the beach. When I am there it is so relaxing, I like to go swimming, the sand is soft, the sun feels nice on my skin and I like to get a tan. The environment there just makes me happy and I chose the picture because if I imagine myself there it just makes me smile.
My parents gave me the name Diana because my mom liked Princess Diana because she was so elegant. The meaning of my name is a Roman goddess of the moon, hunting, and forest. I guess it makes sense because I love night and I feel like I have more energy than during a day.
