Course Description
In this course, you will be able to learn about fashion history, from the end of the 19th century until the present. It provides a comprehensive summary of the many influences which have influenced the development of clothing over the centuries. Studying the effects of a historical period on the style of clothing for the time through an analysis of the economics, political, religious, and cultural factors of the time. Students explore current industry issues using readings, videos, discussions, and field trips with guest speakers to gain a better understanding of how they relate to local industry.

In this research paper, we examine the history of wedding dresses and how they became so popular throughout various cultures throughout history. There is discussion of the impact of different types of textiles and colors used in creation of wedding dresses, as well as the significance of the symbolism behind them. This paper is in APA format and also includes a list of references.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of the infamous movie 1980 Paris is Burning. It is pertinent to observe the origin of gender views on fashion and how those views have influenced the world around us today.
