It’s my first time experiencing working remotely. Of course I’ve had experienced online classes and studying but that’s different. So, how is working remote like? Well at first I thought it wouldn’t be as fun or productive as working on site. I was wrong. Working remotely does not mean you’ll do less work or you’ll not get enough experience even though working in site offers more hands on experience which is totally true. I think the work or the quality of work should be same regardless of the fact that it is remote or not.

There wasn’t a situation where I couldn’t perform good enough or couldn’t finish a project because I was working remotely. As long as you have the basic resources such as a computer, good internet etc you should be good to perform your best. Of course there could be a connection issue or communication issue but that just one of the few downsides of working remote that you have to adjust to.  As much as I would like to work onsite for a bit more hands on experience, I think my current situation is quite good. As a full time student as well, I would find it very difficult to commute to my workplace for an hour back and forth and that time that I save, I put it towards studying which is obviously very important to me as well. It could vary from person to person, I just shared my personal opinion. But in the future when I graduate, I’d much rather work on site.
