Designerās Cookbook Week 11 ā N.S.
My inspiration from Kid Cudi helped me grow as a designer even further when it came to not only his music but his creative mind. Cudi took from his albums and put it into a beautiful film and of course turned his voice into a leader to show the positives in life. With his words and creative mind it made me love anything that had to do with space, the galaxy and so much more around it and so I turned that into my own galactic universe for my designs.

As Cudi grew he then branched out into his third installment to his Man On The Moon Album series called Man On The Moon III: The Chosen.

After seeing the Man On The Moon III album cover it inspired me to create a cover & animation for a song I wrote called āLove & Closureā under the brand I created back in 2023.

ENTERGALACTIC
Later in September 2022, Kid Cudiās movie/album āENTERGALACTICā was released on Netflix. Watching it a few times made me fall in love with the way love and the galactic space was combined and included with the story. It made me want to make my own story with design.
Entergalactic inspired me to make my brand āLove & Closureā and turn it into multiple projects of my own. Projects made behind the brand so far are music, clothes, books, and animations. Closure came from the hoodie that the main character (Jabari) wears in ENTERGALACTIC, and the meaning behind it is finding closure with someone you want to be with/love. Love came from the message of battling with the meaning and the message in my own life, but also to remind myself and others to always love yourself.
Kid Cudi went on to do a TED Talk to get his message across about his journey and what his goal is, his journey to guide the kids today. This music is what connects the kids through his music with lyrics about life the kids might be experiencing and trying to look for ways to get out of tough times. Cudi says to never give up and gives himself as an example that as long as you work hard enough you can get what you’re going for. Everyday when I wake up I listen to one of Cudiās songs to guide me throughout the day and give me ideas for future designs that come into mind as well as to help me stay positive and ongoing to keep that continuing mindset.
