How Film Media Represents Interracial Relationships – TW

Design + Diversity

Very Brief Overview

My research project presentation is about how interracial relationships are represented in film media, like television episodes and commercials, in the 20th and 21st century. (Also I apologize for the video being longer than 7 minutes, I had to cram a lot of information, hence why it’s 10 minutes.”

I really enjoyed your presentation on how film media represents interracial couples. It made me question how that perception has evolved nowadays. Some feedback that I have is to just summarize what you plan on saying for the slides. I would have also loved to see some examples of interracial couples that thrive in today’s society as well as some that don’t and explain why that is. Other than that, you did a great job in providing engaging video components, especially that car commercial. And you also showed statistics, proving your credibility. Great work!

After seeing the whole presentation now since I arrived a little late towards the end of your presentation, I really am all hands on deck for your presentation! I thought adding the statistics was professional and proving that you are not only confident in your research but your topic as well, great choice of content/videos as well to compliment your presentation, great work!

This topic is extremely relevant and interesting. Adding statistics is great, I would have loved to see visual examples of interracial couples thriving and or struggling and how they either process or accept their circumstances in our social climate.

I thought that this was a interesting topic. Personally I was very engaged in this topic because I agree with your points. I loved that you had no fear to present this topic because some people don’t like talking about interracial couples. I also liked how you were able to make the connection between film and interracial couples. The statistics were spot on. This was a great presentation.
