Overview
This research project presentation dives into the visual perception of color, explaining visual perception of color offers a more effective visual communication in design through the use of color. And the psychological effects it has on the public. With the use of visual perception principles and color theories, the audience can gain background knowledge and insight into how the public perceives specific types of color and the associations they make with their emotions, also the inside structure of our eyes and the environment where we stand. Things like light sensitivity, genetic structure, cone reception, and brain manipulation showcase just how impactful color perception is in design.
Your presentation script is comprehensive and well-structured, covering a wide range of aspects related to color perception and its impact on design. The flow from the scientific foundations to historical, cultural, and psychological perspectives is seamless, helping to build a strong narrative. Including examples like Paula Scher’s work and McDonald’s branding adds clarity and relatability. To enhance engagement, consider incorporating interactive questions or visuals during key slides, such as Slide #13 (cultural impact) or Slide #16 (color accessibility). Additionally, ensuring a balance between detailed explanations and concise points will help maintain your audience’s attention throughout the presentation. Great work!
Hey Nathaly, I give my flowers to you for this presentation that was displayed to us. This presentation really dived deep into the color theory, visual perception of color and the associations of color. I did make note that I found insightful of the role of color based on other cultures as it can symbolize different meanings, I appreciate the time and effort that was brought upon this work. USE YOUR VOICE next time! The presentation is already a 100/10 it would had been 200/10 with your natural gifted voice! GREAT WORK!
I liked the pacing of your presentation and how you gave the audience a lot of visuals to help take in the information, how simple and clean the layout was making it easy to understand your point, I think the only thing I did like and surprise it’s the ai voice it being too robotic as it takes away from the speech.
Hello Natalie, your presentation is an interesting tutorial on color. The topic and the information you have included are culturally relevant and extensive. Except for the AI voice, you might even consider in the future creating a series of videos on color.
