   1. Context: Define the problem, what are my goals, what is my life in general?, what obligations do I have this semester?
   2. Observations: How can I do well in this class?, pay attention, take notes, etc.
   3. Questions: What is this class about?, What can I do to succeed in this class?, How will I know if i’m doing well?, Who can I go to for help?
   4. Strategies: Study the syllabus and textbook, go to office hours/ask for help, join a support group, ask clarifying questions
   5. Concepts: Use of time (use a planner), how to study?
   6. Conclusions: I must do these things in order to succeed.
