Assignment 2 part 1

Summary of John Cuneo’s “The Polar Opposite” and https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/20/climate/polar-bear-extinction.html

Polar bears have been the face of climate change for a long time. Melting sea ice has an impact on their eating and migration patterns, and some researchers believe the species may be extinct by 2100. In his most recent cover, John Cuneo takes a mordant approach to the subject. We chatted with the artist recently about his creative process, upcoming book, and what motivates him to write. We have a finite amount of natural resources. However, the population is increasing. As a result, there must be a balance in the use of resources; otherwise, things would deteriorate. This presupposes that developing nations, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, be allowed to continue to grow without being stifled by rich campaigners from Europe and North America.
