I choose a sports magazine from the New Yorker in which they talk about the Culture of the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks. I would say that this article relates to NBA fans  more than anybody else but depending on what your looking at it varies. There’s a bunch of different cultures brought to the NBA because of the diverse group of people who play. There are parts that talk about the style of the NBA which I believe doesn’t only talk to NBA fans. The way that NBA player use there appearance by hairstyles, fashion and other things to promote themselves and promote a certain culture is interesting to me. The league’s “concrete runway” isn’t just an opportunity to flex on Instagram it’s money in the bank for the savvy and stylish athletes. Everything you do in the NBA reflects what type of player you are and the players are taking full advantage. I find it fascinating how global the NBA has become and the cultural effects of this globalization are a good example of geography in the western world.
