The artist of this illustration is Petra Ericksson. She likes to do sketches sometimes and then drop them into the computer and go from there. She said that she doesn’t have a specific technique that she uses but when it comes to her illustrations she thinks about what colors will give off the emotion that she wants the work to have. I find this to be effective because by using colors in this way, it can help you connect with your audience more and give them the vibe you were going for in your work. I believe this is important because you might not always be there to explain your work but by using colors people can get an idea of what you were going for.
