In the first image, you can see the difference in weight with each stroke. I used different sized micron pens including; 03, 05, 12, PN, BR, etc. Using the same pen, I controlled the weights by the amount of pressure I applied. For my two drawings, I drew a fish and Number 2 from Kid’s Next Door. I pressed down harder in certain parts of the drawings, usually where a down stroke was applied, to give the drawings more depth.
About This Course
This course is a practical introduction to the field of illustration. Focus will be placed on process work and professional practices, presented within contemporary and historical context. Course includes projects and lectures in a variety of illustration genres.
