The artist of this drawing was Rembrandt. I think this landscape photo shows a good range of values. I like how they used white to cast the shadows and show were the light was coming from. Looking at this photo it really made me understand how strong a piece could be if you make contrast , with different values of grey and black or just leaving whole areas white. To make this artwork Rembrandt used dry point and etching techniques.
About This Course
