Discipline. English is not one of my strong areas, but I believe by being Discipline in getting all my assignments and homework completed on time is the right approach to this course. Winter vacation was a blessing. I spent most of it with my family. My main worry with online schooling is that I am not getting the exposure and interaction with peers and professor as I like, which I feel is hindering my full learning capacity.  I do see this course as important to both my personal and professional life therefore will try to be discipline enough to complete all tasks and learn as much from it.

To my professor, I am excited to learn from you and to my fellow peers it’s my pleasure being in the course with you.

I choose this, a list of CEOS and their net worth in billions as a reminder that they all have one thing is common, “Self-Discipline”

Tentative. That’s generally my approach to English classes, I’m not very good at them. I enjoy working with numbers and science a lot more than I do with writing, and because of it whenever I’m required to write and do science I only get half the job done effectively.

I haven’t done too much during winter vacation, for the past few months during the weekends I would go to New Jersey to visit my uncle and his wife, as they’ve recently had a daughter, and need some help around the house. Over the break though, I’ve largely stayed at home. Honestly, I prefer online classes a lot, it’s a lot more freeing in a sense, although I tend to let that freedom get to me. This semester is the first time I’ve had in person classes in two years, so adjusting back to that has already been a challenge.

Here’s a picture of my cat, Oreo. Very generic name for a black and white cat but I was 10 and uncreative. We got her in a shelter as a gift for my mom and now she’s annoyed my mom ever since. She usually hangs out on my bed during classes.

Hello, my name is Skyla DeJesus and I am a second year student and so far changing from in person to online was different but I manage well. I am a dog mom to a blue nose pitbull mixed with a boxer and her name is Coco Chanel. She has changed my life for the better and motivates me to work harder for the both of us. My winter break went well I had an online class during the intercession so not really much of a break but I still had moments of relaxation and rest. Im taking seven hybrid classes this semester which brings me some anxiety and stress but I have confidence in myself that I can handle the work load. Im also looking forward to my very much needed vacation at the end of May to Tulum, Mexico! Thanks for taking out the time to read and respond to my intro.
