WSP is currently initiating a search for an Assistant Bridge Inspection Team Leader for our Warwick, RI office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review previous inspection reports and assist in the planning of field operations.
- Perform inspection work and compile reports.
- Receive directions from the Project Manager and other senior staff.
- Technical compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of experience in bridge inspection or design or other bridge-related work.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of performing continuous fieldwork including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and the ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AutoCAD/Microstation Capabilities
- Microsoft Office Capabilities
