Dialogue 1:
Tris: Wanna got to the court and play basketball?
Bill: Can’t I’m busy got a lot of work going on
Tris: Okay when are you free?
Bill: I’m not sure , I’ll probably be free at the end of the semester
Tris: (Sad Tone)Why can’t we have fun like we used to?
Bill: It’s because we all grew up there’s things people have to do.
Tris: I know I just been overthinking lately.
Dialogue 2:
Mike: I’ve been thinking about you lately and I was thinking….maybe we can hang sometime?
Anna: Sure that sounds like a good idea
Mike: Are you available tomorrow at 8pm?
Anna: Yea
Mike: Any suggestions on restaurants
Anna: Not really I haven’t been to many restaurants
Mike: Wanna go to the Outback Steakhouse?
Anna: Sure that sounds great
Dialogue 3:
Alan: Yooo wanna play Call of Duty I found a new spot we can go to
Mo: Sure what’s this spot you found
Alan: It’s by that spot we always use to land at Quarry.
Mo: Okay but I can’t get on for that long I have to go to work soon.
Alan: Alright just need you for 30 mins
Mo: Okay I’m getting on right now.
Dialogue 4:
Moose: Yoo I want to get a new Gaming PC do you have any suggestions?
Ben: Yea get a PC with a good graphics card because if not you’ll play on a low resolution.
Moose: Bet I’m going to get the RTX 2060
Ben: Yea that’s fine and get the 16GB so you can have enough to download many games
Moose: Should I build a PC or just buy it pre-built?
Ben: It don’t matter it’s up to you
Moose: Aii thanks for the suggestions.
I really like your first dialogue because I can feel the emotion in that statement, and we all missed that fun.
I enjoyed how short and sweet these are. Despite the length I still felt a wide range of emotions reading them.
I really enjoyed the first dialogue because I was able to relate to it. We aren’t able to do all the fun things we used to because now that we’re older we have more responsibilities and sometimes that makes me sad.
I enjoyed reading dialogue one. I can relate to it. It feels like I’m bouncing multiple responsibilities and some of my friends are or some arent doing much and are trying to hang out. We are all out of sync since we have things we need to do now.
