The main thing I enjoyed about this piece was the level of detail we were given. This definitely helped visualize the situation. One thing I had on my mind throughout the entire read was if the daughter in questions still felt the same about the mother as she did in the beginning of the passage. Alongside that I wanted to know if the mother uncharacteristically helping her daughter prepare gave her any odd thoughts.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

I do agree about how the details being given to us helped us visualize the situation happening.
I agree with you that the author was very detailed which made the reader visualize things in the story. because in the story she explains her emotion very well in every situation such as when her mother was dressing her for the first day of school.
I agree that the author is very detailed, the way the author describes the dress with it being cotton and all these wild colors you can picture how the dress look.
I agree with the fact that the details allowed readers to help visualize the situation. I was able to picture the scene in my mind which made it easy to understand the reading. I’m curious to know what you meant when saying you wonder if the mother helping the daughter gave her odd thoughts. What odd thoughts would she have?
I also agree that the author used a great level of detail to tell the story. Help visualize what was going on.
I also agree I think that the author used a lot of detail which made the story easier to understand and visualize
I agree with everyone on the level of detail the author used throughout her story. She described every single piece of her clothes and the color they were. I was still unable to imagine what she was wearing.
I agree because visualization of a story helps us as the reader to put our selves in the authors shoes.
