What I found the most difficult about this project is finding reliable sources and finding relevant sources. There were many times when I found a book or an article about my subject but there wasn’t anything relevant that I could quote that could help my research. What really surprised me is how passionate I have been about my topic. I found my heart beating fast while reading about it and just wanting more information. I don’t think I have ever been this interested in a project before. I learned to make sure that I care about what I’m reading/writing. If I don’t then the work will show that I didn’t care and that it was just for the assignment. Not only that but it also taught me that there is an entire world of research out there and if I can just dedicate a little extra time to research it can make my projects infinitely better.

Class Meetings & Times: in person Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 – 5:15 PM in Namm 403
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
