My name is Ethan Mau and I am a CS major currently attending City College of Technology. I am writing to you to tell you about this class and how it would be extremely beneficial to attend this class, both as an elective as well as a good class to take during the quarantine. I feel this way because this class is relatively simple to take and I feel it is similar to any asynchronous class done well. This class is the perfect example of any asynchronous class done well, with the professor displaying all the information in an easy to find and work with manner, and students being able to easily upload information in an easy to find and work with manner. In my opinion, this class displayed how classes should be handled during a pandemic, making information easy to access. This class was also ” fun ” in my opinion due to the assignments. ” Fun ” in quotes because the assignments kept my interest and created value in completing assignments besides just grades. I felt I learned a lot about myself due to the Discourse Communities Assignment. This Unit 1 main assignment helped push me to do a lot of self-reflecting in the DC’s that I was a part of, and it could do that for you as well. This class was also useful in the fact that I viewed this class as an easy A class, where it is one of the classes where as long as you do the work ( and in this context the work is relatively easy ) you should get an A without any problem. This could be said with the majority of classes but with this class, I feel this especially. I could use the easy A to boost my gpa. This class is the perfect example of an asynchronous class done well, as well as a class during a pandemic done well.
