I believe that Aydin, Spiegleman, and Satrapi decided to inform readers about important historical events by using multimodal text. This may be because multimodal texts are used as powerful communication tools. I personally found out that multimodal texts tend to combine two or more modes of communication. For example, this would include combining words, images, and sounds. When reading a historical novel with a lot of passages, it will be boring and people like me would just simply not read the book or find a summary online. But when looking at these three samples, I am able to tell the author’s difference in subjects. The images really brought out a part where it gives you a better understanding of what the author is trying to portray.

And as for experience, I have absolutely had 0 experience with this type of writing. This makes me a little nervous but I heard so far that it can be fun so I am hoping for the best in this assignment.
