The Declaration of Independence is simplified down in various paragraphs and discusses the freedom of rights for the future of the country and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which the Independent States may of right do. Because of the Declaration, they were able to have there own form of government and there own laws. It was a solution for the people.

Well as for the first 2 paragraphs of the constitution, it explains that all men were made equal,(God) had made all man equal. And that they have the right to pursue a life of liberty and happiness in order to have a stable and fitted government for the people. It goes on to tell the people that they can abolish a government if it doesn’t suit there needs and morals. I can tell from the top paragraphs that they are talking about how their king, and how he treats them. The constitution states that there king can no longer stable them so they realiozed that it was time for change in their land. Ofcourse the people have a chance to say what they want and declare war if neede. This was a persuasive piece of writing because it showed how the king acts and behaves towards his own people, but all he seems to want is power. This is why this was a persuasive piece of writing.Now, the third section was based on the truths. It had listed all the bad that Great Britain had done to the colonies. It informs as to why theymust break away from the King of England. The reasons told were because: imposing taxes without consent, and cutting off trade with all parts of the world. In the declaration, “Let facts be submitted to the candid world”. This part was meant to tell the world the horrible things England was doing to the colonies. Finally, for the last section it explains that United States is finally free and independent from England and its king. They now have the freedom to do all the things they would like to do that England wouldn’t allow them to do. 

One claim that I believe that Randy explains in modern terms that relate to today’s social problems is “. . . deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”. In today’s time, we are suffering from a global pandemic and although we have our own individual beliefs, we should all listen to the government and its orders to follow. Although many do not do so because they “feel uncomfortable with wearing a mask”, or say “I can’t breath” which is just complete nonsense. The government should just mandate wearing a mask to the people and for their protection because some states don’t mandate it as much.
