Review Global Corrections
Global corrections adjust the entire photo. In Lightroom, it includes the controls under Light,Color, Effects and Detail
Refer to week 6 for proper workflow
Local Corrections
After making global corrections, you may find specific areas need correction or enhancement for for directing viewer attention
This achieved by using the adjustment brush and masking tools. These are called masking tools but what is masked is what is corrected using the editing panel.
Lightroom has auto masking tools that choose subject, sky, and background. Sky not so effective on tree branches or soft edges.
With the adjustment brush, you paint over what you want to correct.
