Week 8 Journal

Unfortunately, I was unable to go to Chris Stapleton’s presentation. So my post is going to be based off what I read on his site. After looking through his site, for some reason the movie Gamer ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1034032/ ) came to mind. To me, it seems like Chris wants to bring 3D movie effects to other aspects of our lives, but with the ability for the viewer to interact. In terms of video games, I think this is a cool idea (this is probably why the movie came to mind). I am sure most of us sometimes imagine what it would be like to be in the games we play. I could see this technology being very useful for athletes, men and women in the military, and not sure what else. Hopefully, this technology can become mainstream soon.
