3 ways to speak English

“I have decided to treat all three of my languages as equals” I grew up speaking Spanish and English and when I couldn’t say a certain word in one language I would end up speaking the other.  My family speak Spanish but since they grew in different part of the world, they use different words to say one thing just how in  English many word can represent one thing. I would sometimes feel different for not knowing or even not understanding  when they spoke cause I wouldn’t join the conversation. The quote I chose mean just because I don’t speak like you doesn’t mean it worth any less. My words or my way of speaking is just as equal as your and it might not be the same but doesn’t mean to ignore it. Also to embrace how you speak; to not be ashamed or only want to speak one form of your language but appreciate that you know different languages or forms of the language. I feel that what Jamila means to treat all languages equal because there is not one right way or set way of speaking/talking after all a language changes  every few year centuries. You speak differently to people at home, at school and in professional places and that ok.
