What did I learn from reading this article? I learned that people actually get mad when you have the inappropriate grammar and you don’t follow guidelines, I did not know that an article could be so mean, I understand the way they see it like you have to respect the way things are done but they are being too critical about it, that is just how I feel about it, maybe it was not his intention but I am just giving my opinion. I think in high school we learn a lot of unnecessary things that literally make no sense, I used to learn things so I can take a test and then forget it all so I think if we just focused on important things like using proper English and citations we would do so much better. Now that I know how people get because you did the wrong citation I think I am going to be more careful next time. (This is just how I felt while reading the article)

During my research in unit two, I found an article that talked about why uniforms were implemented and what thoughts people had about wearing uniforms, in this article I found many cutes that support pros and cons, one of the quotes I found was by ProCon.org. “Research by the Schoolwear Association found that 83% of teachers thought “a good school uniform… could prevent bullying based on appearance or economic background.” “Should Students Have to Wear Uniforms?” ProCon.org, 20 Jan. 2020, school-uniforms.procon.org/. I think the best quotes are the ones that have two sides to them so you can come with your own thoughts and it makes the reading more interesting because if you are just told that something is bad and you can’t use your own criteria then it’s not as good. The two sides of this quote are one wearing a uniform is not going to prevent bullying because there are a thousand more reasons why kids can get bullied, but on the other hand, wearing a uniform can show students that they are the same regardless of their clothes.
