1. I liked when you said, ” I had an open mind, if I failed, then I learned from it not to discourage myself”, because I personally can relate to this quote because I entered into college with an open mind.

2.  I got this from reading your work: You were having difficulty in middle school getting grades due to the teacher’s lack of motivation and you felt discouraged. You worked harder towards getting good grades.  When the final day of middle school came along, you were extremely nervous when they were giving report cards. When you got yours back you felt relief and boosted in confidence. You entered H.S with an open mind and was in Honor roll society. You ended off your H.S experience strong up until Covid in your senior year. Covid ruined the plans with your friends, affected you & your family & academically limited your education due to a bombardment of work.

3. I found this part interesting because: “I made it to the honor roll, and not once did I fail a class.” The entire 180 you did from your middle school self to your high school self is noticeable & great because you bettered yourself in the education environment by yourself.

4. I got confused here: I  honestly wasn’t confused while reading your essay because it was straight forward.

5. I wanted to know more about the teacher’s reaction whether it’ll be the middle school teachers or the H.S teachers. I want to know the H.S teachers response to the dramatic change and the shift into that well adjusted dedicated student. I also would like to know the middle school teachers response to you proving their concerns wrong.

Ending comment: A quote that stuck with me was, ” I was amazed by what I have done, and I had more confidence in myself” This quote was supported behind the entirety of your essay and exemplified how a student can become an ideal student in the education system. Despite the lack of motivation & faith you overcame the challenge.
