What I found really interesting about the following article , “Can Afganistan’s leading broadcasters survive the taliban” is that the taliban are literally terrorizing the different media personal with all sorts of violent tactics. And if they cant get to the journalist or reporter they are literally violently attacking the family of the journalist. I found thus interesting because the journalist are being punished simply just for doing there job.
A obvious yet strikingly useful strategy the author uses in , “Did I really just buy ebony” is the use of qoutes. The author has used dialouge between many different characters to get his point across and also help the reader enjoy and understand the text briefly.
