Hello everyone! My name is Alejandro Xie and my pronouns are He/Him. I was born in Peru to Chinese parents and came to the states when I was two. You can call me Alex although Alejandro is just fine as well. I live only half an hour away from City Tech in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. I’m currently studying for a BA in Computer Systems. My favorite author is Michael Grant for his chilling yet engaging “Gone” series, but J.K Rowling (with respect to her books, not her controversies) and Roald Dahl are childhood favorites of mine. I loved Eric Carle’s childrens books as well, it’s really sad that he passed away last week. I also love to work out and am a big fan of any media involving time travel.

Hi Alejandro, your introduction was very interesting. I liked how you mentioned you were born in Peru. It is nice to meet different people from different places.
Welcome aboard Alex. Thanks for mentioning the passing of Eric Carle, a truly gifted children’s book author as you point out.
