Custom Art Brushes

Today, we will discuss how to make a Candy Cane in Illustrator.

Objectives

  • Saving your work into an Art Brush

Critique

Each week we will review homework assignments from the previous class. Students will participate in reviewing material and offering suggestions for improvement for their cohort. This week we will review the Split the Grid techniques and designs.

Lab 11

Lab assignments are done during class time.

  • Practice creating a Candy Cane, and spirals.
  • Create the Peel Technique.

Discussion:

Each week you will need to respond to two questions posted. This is a requirement for participation part of your grade.

Homework Due Next Class: 

All work should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday before class.

Each file should be saved according to the following naming convention. i.e., 3711_11_LastName.ai.

  • Follow the directions on the resource sheet given out in class.
