Dear Engineering Student,
My name is Bo Hyun Lee, Ph.D., and I am an assistant professor in Counseling & Educational Psychology at the New Mexico State University. The purpose of this study is to learn more about the contextual and socio-cognitive factors that influence the academic and career development among the historically underrepresented college students pursuing a degree in engineering. This information will contribute to better understanding the process in which students decide to pursue an engineering degree, as well as the variables that impact persistence in both engineering education and careers.
