The gun violence in the Sunset Park station yesterday was horrible for our community. If you find students who are struggling with anxiety and terrified to come to Voorhees using the subway, please ask them to stay home until they feel safe. Meanwhile, you can record/live your in-person lecture or give any accommodation for study-from-home situations. Please emphasize that students will not be penalized for remote attendance. Also, if necessary, please advise them to contact the Counselling Center below.
