After reading the article, I understand and see how the museums renew their logo, to make them “flexible” they need to keep up with times for people to look at them in a new way. lots of museums are changing and converting themself to sell to people in the public. Like from what I know, MTV has been doing that for a long time.

I had not even thought about the MTV logo, but you’re absolutely right. The MTV logo is a perfect example of a logo that has grown with the company as it has evolved throughout the years. For example, it used to have the words “music television” on it, but after it stopped being focused on music, they decided to keep just the MTV and has been used in different colors without taking away from their identity.
Oo! I think MTV is the best example of finding a way to achieve a common ground for both new and old style. Although designing a logo that is more generationally linked.
