RAB Proposal- Ikechukwu Okoro

My research question is: How has the vaccination requirement changed the world of sports ? This topic interests me because I enjoy watching sports as well as playing them. I remember how I reacted when sports came to an abrupt end due to the coronavirus pandemic. I already know about some of the rules put into place after the coronavirus pandemic, however I would like to know how those rules are still implemented today. Some points that I plan to explore and find out more about are what were the rules affected by the coronavirus pandemic, what were the requirements athletes had to meet in order to play again, how did athletes feel about the vaccination requirement.

  1. Ike: Since we did talk about this during Monday’s class, you absolutely should have revised this HW. You need to use the Paragraph Template I provided. You need to focus, refine, fine-tune your RQ. This is just too too broad. You need a more specific RQ. You write: How has the coronavirus pandemic caused change in sports and how it is still present today. WHAT ABOUT SPORTS? WHICH SPORTS? WHAT IS PRESENT TODAY? Much much too vague.

How has the pandemic changed the sports industry / Sports revenue? the fan base? Fan loyalty? Sports league rules and protocols? Safety protocols in sports? Media coverage? How has the pandemic changed they way people watch sports? WHATEVER YOU WANT FOCUS ON — but if you want to do a sports topic, then you need to focus.

WHERE IS YOUR LINK to at least ONE possible article?

I explained all this in class and so I am asking why there is no follow through here.

Some links to articles I found in a quick Google search for you to get ideas on focusing your RQ:
