Notes from today 2/28, and reading/blogging assignments for Tuesday 3/5
Today we discussed plagiarism in its many forms. On Tuesday we’ll discuss access: institutional, personal, and the digital divide. Please read the following two articles:
Martin, The Politics of Research
Samuelson, Aaron Swartz: Opening Access to Knowledge
Julissa, Carlos and Joseph will facilitate discussion. Your blogging assignment is one reading response blog post.
Slides from today are available here. I’ll try to download the results of the pollanywhere academic conduct survey and post them here — but bear with me as I’m still learning how to use the pollanywhere site.
Looking forward to Sunday’s zine collection field trip to Brooklyn College! Remember, if you can’t make it Sunday, you are welcome to visit the collection any time the library is open.
