Most media are controlled by the upper class companies and with that being that way the lower class don’t get there news or their stories out. The big companies aren’t expanding unless its with a bigger company so the lower companies aren’t going to ever get as big as the bigger companies. In “Critical Thinking, Deviant Knowledge, and Alternative Press” the bigger companies controlled the news, medias, TV and etc. and they are the ones that control what goes on the papers or the commercials. The only way the lower class are getting their stories out and news is by the alternative press which is not as much as the other publishers publishing  news for the bigger companies. And in the “The history and Characteristics of Zines” are getting their stories or news about their subjects out there even if they have to publish it themselves. Why do they do this? I guess to get their work known and to be known. The zines are becoming known over the 2 decades. Even though the lower class aren’t getting their stories and news out through the newspapers, they are getting through by zines.
