For our podcast that talks about Red Hook and its waterways, flooding, zoning of residential areas and industrial areas, and public access for said waterways and public space. The research and podcast was based around interviewing the residents of Red Hook about the following question, “What can be done in Red Hook to prevent and or reduce flooding before it happens?”. As well as, “Is it possible to access the waterways and do you feel safe using them?”. “Is the city taking any steps to fix the problems at hand or are there issues that restrict that from happening?” With our OpenLab project you will be able to get an insight view of Red Hook and all the issues related to the flooding, zoning and etc.
Our main question in the podcast was around : What measurements is the city taking to make the residents of Red Hook more protected against flooding ?
