3 point lighting with color
For todays lesson I was able to learn I was able to understand how to take better portrait shots better and enjoy doing it as well. As you can see out of all of the photos I took, these are my best out of all of them. The edge was enjoyable because not being on a black or white background we had red. The one that was most enjoyable to take was the 3 point lighting with color.
Something for you to pay attention to as it’s an ongoing thing with your shots is to be wary of how much space you are leaving above your subject. In each of these the subject’s face is more or less in the middle of the frame, leaving lots of space over their heads. Bring your angle down and you’ll end up with more of your subject’s body in the shot and less empty space.
