For my 5th iteration I decided to make a mold of my pattern. In this picture I am using the CNC machine.
High density foam mold.
To create my mold i decided to use plaster VS concrete, mainly because I’ve worked with plaster in the past and in familiar with it.
I followed the directions on the Plaster of Paris. One cup of water for two cups of plaster.
As i slowly poured the plaster I held the mold from the sides and gently tapped it continuously against the floor to ensure no air bubbles in my finished product.
I let it set over night
