During my Next visit to the Home Depot i purchased a piece of wood for the sliding panel, aluminum angles to frame the panel and screws.

I cut a piece of wood @ 1-1/2 scale to represent one 6’X6′ sliding panel.

I hand cut the aluminum angle I Bought at the Home Depot at the same scale to represent the metal frame around the sliding panels to give them more stability/ reinforcement.

Using my hand drill and a drilling bit I drilled through two overlapping aluminum angels and the 3X4″thick panel.

Ideally the metal frame could be welded, however for my project i decided to use 1/4″ Hex bolts, washers and Hex nuts.

The photos above show all the pieces of the panel coming together.

The next apart of this process was attaching the rollers to the panel. To do so I drilled holes on top and bottom of the panel.
