For the 8th floor hallway design I really wanted to maximize the pinup space for students during presentations. In order to do so I decided to use sliding boards which could be layered against the existing wall. This sketch illustrates creating 5 boards each being 6’x6′.
In this sketch I tried incorporating shelf like areas underneath the sliding boards to facilitate displaying models during presentations. The patteren that I created earlier in the course will be used as a terracotta 2’x2′ floor tile
